The Golden Scholars Achievement Scholarship

The Golden Scholars Achievement Scholarship is available to female graduating seniors from the following high schools: Liberty County High School, Bradwell Institute, Richmond Hill High School, Bryan County High School, and Long County High School.

Application Deadline:
April 1, 2025, by 11:59 PM

Scholarship Details:
Funds will be sent directly to the recipient's college or university for the upcoming fall semester.

Eligibility Criteria

Female graduating high school senior from one of the listed schools
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college after graduation
Demonstrated involvement in community service

Terms of Disbursement

Two scholarships will be awarded
Funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient's educational institution

Application Requirements

A complete application packet must include the following:

Completed application form
Unofficial high school transcript
One letter of recommendation from a teacher, supervisor, or community leader
Proof of participation in at least one community service activity
College acceptance letter
Personal Essay Choose From One of the Topics Below (500-1,000 words):
- What does women’s empowerment mean to you, and how have you contributed to advancing it in your community?
- If you could create one program or initiative to benefit women, what would it be and why?
- How can women better support each other in achieving equality, and what role will you play in fostering this support?

Evaluation Criteria

Applicants will be assessed based on:
Academic achievement
Scholastic awards
Community service involvement
Quality Personal Essay
Strength of the letter of recommendation
